This is why they turned you guys down for your costs on parts and repairs
Ivan Drago would like to speak at you for making fun of his accent. Dasvidaniya Rayman Ruuskie.
Just so I understand,. There is nothing mechanically wrong with car. A sensor failed. 300 bucks to make a light to go out? Did I miss something?
So many of your customers decline repairs. Makes me wonder why they bother to bring it in and do the diagnostic? What did they think would happen? You would wiggle a wire in a loose connection and they luck out somehow?
Your Russian accent was so bad … I had to look away …. and block my ears …..
I hated doing estimates … especially refused repair types… you give the customer the item that has failed , they go out and replace it themselves…..
Not such a good joke now is that accent 🙂
I’m begging you Ray, seek professional help! 🤣😂
they PUTIN water Mr. RAYSKI
This is happening more and more in our field. Mechanic’s diagnose and customer takes home and fixes themselves.
I noticed ur tester was set for AC voltage. I thought that all voltage in a vehicle (except for an auxiliary 120v receptacle/inverter) was DC? Are there other AC systems in vehicles that I'm not aware of?
Boris & Natasha says watch Bullwinkle and Rocky Show.
OK…I reply for you now. Is good, NO?
If lift no work, no problem. Hire sturdy Russian women to raise automobile by hand, pay later with piroshki and golubsi!
Why the hell do you bring your car to the shop if you want to get it fixed?
Some you win, some you lose.
When I worked on London buses the customer always said "Yes do it". All I had to do was tell the clerk of the works who then booked the vehicle in for repair
Yea people are morons. They have the cash to pay 500mth payment for that pos but somehow fixing it doesn’t matter. Morons always buying cars they can’t afford
who else tilts there head while trying to look at the wheel sensor lol
Should you not have confirmed your test logic by testing for voltage on the other wheel sensor was well? Better than the embarrassment of replacing a wheel bearing and not fixing the problem? Just my thoughts…
The monotone voice along with russian accent had me dying 😂 i watch a russian guy who does funny things and that reminded me of him speaking english 😂😂😂
Moose and Squirrel enjoyed.
Ivan Ray's Russian Repairs…!! "it was low on Vodka…" "I suffering from OBD code R-101…(stuck in Russian mode)"
No commie
Love all your vids Ray! was wondering how you would charge for diagnostic fees?
Rainman Ray goes from Rodney Dangerfield to Yakov Smirnoff!
awesome !!! I enjoy your show great job
I had a similar issue on my bosses work van, 2010 town and country. it drank coolant like a fish, im talking a gallon would last 50 miles toward the worst of it. The heater cores have a Y-fitting to send coolant to the back core and front core of the van, and they are notorious for the plastic splitting on them. On my particular repair it took weeks of me searching and searching after running coolant through it, and the split was in the crotch of the Y adapter, temperature gauge ran normal even if the radiator was nearly empty but you would get a smell of things getting hot. I don't know if the thermostat in these chrysler blocks is just really good at reading air or its too low compared to the location of the leak and thus it keeps a coolant level even when the system is low but it reads near dead on, unless you know the two spots it will sit you won't be able to tell. The aftermarket replacement fitting is made of aluminum rather than plastic.

This is great video. More power Rainman Rey
Russian Rainman Ray's Repairs?
By far, favorite video this is of yours. Am glad you had, how you say, second act of video for to hear your accent. Stay being safe, dasvidaniya!
Don’t be upset when someone doesn’t get it fixed at your shop. Most likely going to take it back to the dealer and be like, “wtf?”. Especially those auto groups that provide a service contract. I’ll get my tires, brakes and oil done at a regular repair shop, but if I’ve got a check engine light or anything that could be serious, I’m gonna drive 55 minutes and have them deal with it.
Thank you Comrade!
How does a motor mount leak coolant? Is there an old leaky freeze out plug behind the motor mount? A hose that it’s leaking near the motor mount? Or is the motor mount somehow part of the cooling system on that model and make of vehicle? Sorry if this is a dumb question “comrade”.
🤔🇨🇺🇺🇸
🤣 All you need to sound like a genuine Russian, is to sound doped, or drunk!
😩😩😩 another blue ball cock tease. The best part is being able to help and fix a car… Not waste your talents and time. How frustrating… But sometimes it be like that.
Speed sensors on locomotives are very difficult to diagnose sometimes. They don’t have a pigtail so if you have to replace oneto the farthest rear wheel, it’s a 70 ft run then you have to replace all the pins in it into the traction computer. They would often be fine at low speeds, testing in the yard.. but flake out at high speeds while pulling freight.
This aged excellently! lol
LOL
Using the meter in that way was not going to read voltage. Sensor had no voltage supplied to it to read back via the meter. Love you videos, watch every day!
You should audition for the next Borat movie.
In Soviet Russia, good day has you.
I like it,do it more often.
That second light you're talking about is not a traction control light, that particular icon is supposed to be for electronic stability system. And it is different than traction control.
Bet you feel a bit BLEH, having learn't Ukranian/Russian just in time for all this crap to go down.
I want to say that having some ac voltage doesn't show that the sensor is good. I did a voltage test an all 4 sensors on my girl's jeep patriot. All showed ac voltage and the difference wasn't a lot. Ended up replacing the suspect speed sensor and all was fixed.
You're a hell of a mechanic. I've worked on cars my whole life and owned a mobile mechanics business for 3 years. Was troubleshooting a coolant leak on my old ford focus. Couldn't find anything obvious. My first thought was what would ray do? Brought the focus up to temp and found a crack in the plastic radiator. Thanks for the inspiration bro
Absolutely Riotous.
