Obviously the Escalade is 4 or AWD how are you able to do just one wheel???

  2. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Douglas Bobar says:

    You must be crazy!!!

  3. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Mack Yocum says:

Ray, if it flooded with salt water, run away! All the pinch welds will rust and fail because the saltwater crystals never completely dry and will continue to rust the body forever. If it was freshwater you stand a chance of restoring it.

  4. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Otis Spunkmeyer says:

I wouldn’t trust Dodge to make a reliable bicycle.

  5. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars J Bello says:

Salt water flooded cars will end your misery much quicker than fresh water flooded cars.

Oh, I would love to own a machine like that, flood damage or not. Seems such a waste to write it off

  11. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Peter Siva says:

Once was in a car that didn’t have its wheals torqued. Let’s say that stoner didn’t work at Walmart for long. Dude almost killed my dad, brother,my self. The tier bounce across the road and bounced over a van with out hitting any one. Car shook like hell before falling strait down onto pavement.

  12. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Tiffany Montcrieff says:

Buy the Dodge! Buy the Dodge!

  13. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars dRios7 says:

This is more work, but i worked as a tire installer for 10 years, yes for the Costco, they pay well. We would mark the tire at the valve stem and turn it 180 degrees from the stem. In most cases, that would lower how much weight the wheel would take, even with a bent wheel.

  18. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Robert Swartzwelder says:

Buy the flood damaged Chrysler product Ray, then you can feel good about every other decision you have made in your life! :). Seriously though it would be a fun car and I doubt it has too much wrong with it, it runs and drives. I bet the seat parts are available at a junkyard somewhere, seems like a care that people would crash a lot! Love your content! Thanks for so many videos, I watch them all!

  19. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Al Niemann says:

Insurance company is gonna want to screw you along with the customer. Amazing car with all the mods, but at current used car prices probably not gonna get it for a decent price.

  24. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars kellsarah says:

Best part of not fixing it for insurance is used parts are more readily available.

  25. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Eric Richardson says:

Engine swap challenger engine to Toyota lol

  26. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Jetro says:

You get it cheap but selling a salvage car in the future can be quite hard.

  27. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars wakcedout says:

And I bet the spare was never touched. They could of saved that rim had they just put thr spare on and then drove in.

Ive got a 22 Charger Scat. They are super fun cars. If you can nab it for a reasonable price, send it 100%. Everything seems to be fine that needs to be.

  33. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Evan Hartmann says:

If the tire has a circle or dot on it it should go next to the stem and normally shouldn’t need to add weights

  34. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Simon Black says:

I don't blame you. If I could, I would go for it. Sweet car!

  35. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars dave buko says:

  36. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Luis Rodriguez says:

Pos mechanics always want to buy the deal that’s why they lie and can’t be trusted they always want to take your vehicle instead of fixing it for their own persons gain

  37. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars TankGuy3 says:

I bought a '15 Ford Focus for about $7000 that had about 45k miles on it, and supposedly had flood damage, but I'm told it was only standing in about 4 inches of water. Every mechanic that has worked on it was skeptical when I said it had flood damage.

The only "issues" are the ones inherent to the Focus's of that era (transmission related). Even that's pretty rare, and being that it was from Texas: No salt damage! Though that may change, being in Wisconsin now.

  38. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars tazimafied says:

Buy it! I heard it calling your name and saying save me! You need it and it needs you!

Seriously though there isn't really that much that needs to be done. Replace the seat module. Check the passenger seat. Check all the other sensors and connectors that might have water intrusion, replace all the fluids and take er out fer a rip an see how she does.

Almost forgot about all that extra garbage wiring. All that can go. Chrysler products have enough electrical problems on their own. Especially if they've been flooded.

  39. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Scott Bishop says:

It would be gut wrenching to see a nice car loaded up on a truck to be sent to the auctions to wind up as scrap or someone else's project, as long as the insurance company too greedy and not giving a decent discount on it.

Getting second hand parts or a seat complete with the electronics required would/could be the way to go, it would be worth it and sure even if you were to only break even if you had several things that might prevent its repair?

    Dilemma!!!! …. lol

  40. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Abraham R says:

    Try and get it ray!!!

  41. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Golden Dodge says:

No safety beep when backing up. Bad Ray.

Service "advisors" are some of the dumbest creatures on the planet.

  43. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Cup & Cone says:

It'll be interesting to see if insurance sells it to you, especially as an involved party in its diagnosis. Normally they have to go to auction as a fraud prevention method.

  44. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars IG Spawns says:

Why do people stay in Florida? Like you know there are going to be hurricanes so why stay? Seems like they're fighting a losing battle

  45. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Debbie Schmidt says:

Noticed something on your left hand that is troublesome… your wedding ring appears to be metal and I can’t imagine getting that caught on something would be pleasant. You should look into the silicone breakaway rings.

  46. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars LORD, IT'S PROBING TIME 666 says:

BUY IT, BUY IT!!! I'm amazed at such little things can cause them to write something like that off. I can imagine more issues but, if engine miles etc are low then going through all low connections etc wouldn't be a huge issue for you. Clean em all up and some electrolytic grease on all should keep things good after.
