Can I get a chicky check Microphone check1 1212 Microphone check one two Oh, let's hope this fixes it. If not, I don't know I fix cars not computers. It says better I Think loud and clear, Working great, better. he's back.

Good audio better sounds good, Sounds good America back and clear much better. Hello! Just like a lot of things with technology, you just got to shut it off and turn it back on. and Tada it's fixed. We just like crisscross.

We're back and whack and back again. Let's see here Ah That's it. All right? Well, we only have a few more minutes I've got about about a half an hour we can spend uh, more together now that we've cleared the codes and restarted as DIY Dave suggested and we're good until it runs a drive cycle, fails and throws a coat again. Uh, let's see here for the technology.

I Don't know if that's going to help Oryan I appreciate it, but uh I thought we were doing a better job by buying a camera an actual camera 4K with remote control and here we are. It failed us. I doubted the camera's fault. um have I heard of Lexon? just spot an inch pound torque wrench off Amazon I haven't Charles Um I'm not very involved in the tool side of things Beyond some Automotive stuff which that's Automotive but I don't know I haven't heard of that so good luck with it.

Hopefully it works. Um I work in it and can help you out. Oh, there's no help for me when it comes to these things. I Buy these computers Compu these are like 89 I go on new egg usually new egg or Amazon see who's got the cheapest because the computers in the shop I point because it's up here.

it's just a little micro siiz one they get. they get destroyed. you know they suck in dust and I never clean them I me once in a while I hit it with a blown no on a big cloud comes out in the back. but uh, as a general rule, the shop computers get really wasted.

So I buy The $99 the $129 refurbs. They sit out here for five or six years. They start throwing me a fit. We run a drill bit through it a bunch of times and off to the electronics recycler and we buy another one.

Um uh thanks Car Wash channel of dot dot dot um use your videos to help fix the Subaru Thank you for what you do. We appreciate it. Glad you're able to fix your Subaru They always have an endless amount of fixing that needs to be done. That's what I like about them.

Oh do you guys want to see a new tool that I bought? Let me go get it. Stand by I'm back I Just bought this baby. It came from the jungle store it's called the Flex Mig 360 For non-certified welders, this thing's going to be freaking awesome. Either that or I got ripped off $200 But we're going to find out we're going to do a video on it because if it works good, if it doesn't, every everybody's going to know about it and they don't sponsor us so we don't care if it works or not.

But here's the idea. This is what we're gonna find out. So this little guy you take your regular Mig gun. screw that baby on this comes down.
You bring the rubber down, covers it up and you're like oh, I got to get into that hard to reach excess area. What? You can just bend that, get up in there sh. go lay your bird turd weld all around it. Oh yeah, it's there.

It's flexible. You can't complain if Subaru's got a buck 76 m. still going. Can't complain I wouldn't complain.

don't complain. Um, so yeah. look at that. she's flexible.

It's called the Flex Mig 360 Uh, I Don't know if it's the be's knees, but we're going to find out. Um, keep doing what you're doing. You're awesome! Seb The working Dad Thanks Seb Glad that we provide you with hours of endless entertainment! So I bought this one. You buy it for whatever size wire you have I run 030 so it's got an 030 tip in it.

It does have a removable liner which I Was kind of curious because you can bend this thing pretty pretty tight. Comes with two different adapters for the back here I think a metric and an American welcome to America And then inside here does have a removable liner. so it has your standard you know liner on the inside of it. So I'm curious to see how the wire feeds through it.

It feels to be good quality. Yeah, this is a quarter inch adapter. This one must be like a 6 millimeter. Does it say yeah? M6 So this is a 6 millimeter adapter and then your quarter inch adapter.

Oh, it doesn't really focus that well, but you guys get the concept of what we're doing here. I'm excited I'm super excited we're going to try it out. Hopefully it works because this will be those will be freaking awesome. Um have I tried sitting on it I Haven't thought about it but I haven't No, I haven't thought about it you Ding-dong But uh yeah, look at this thing.

Boom! Flex Mig I'm super excited. So because in the automotive industry when we're welding exhaust, you guys know we do a lot of exhaust cross work here. This could be the game changer because you're always trying to get up there with your mid gun and well, sometimes you can't So the Flex Mig 360 don't buy one yet is what I would tell you. don't buy it.

Why did I buy it? Because late at night scrolling on the insta here's a guy: He's got a Flex MC 360 looks like the bee's knees I says I'm going to get me some one on there $200 I think it was $29 I think I paid for it I've got it with the extra gas diffuser. Couple extra tips: I paid $24.95 American So we'll see, We'll see. We'll let you know. We'll give you the ins and outs of course.

I am a non-certified welder so we we have that going for us. Um, so that's how you know it's going to be good. but if it works, oh, it's worth $200 Let me tell you. um, any more Big Big Bear there? No Big Bear over there.

Uh I hope so I did buy a new uh New Old Stock Muni carb for it So I'm G to put a new carb on it. that one leaks and I didn't want to go with a Chinese aftermarket mixed reviews on those I wanted a genuine Muni because I plan on C keeping it around for a while and mun is fun to say. Uh, you have a shop heater. Oh it's not on right now.
that's why it's quiet and in really in real life it is quiet. the the shop heater is super quiet. I mean not super quiet, but it's very tolerable. maybe 50 DBS I Don't know it's not loud on the video though, it's super loud.

Uh, let's see uh scope recommendations. Well Ryan if I'm being completely honest if I have to recommend a scope I have to recommend a Pico Uh, if you're looking for for just a small single Channel I mean the AES wave U scope is a fantastic little scope, but if you're looking for a multi- channel scope, the the Pico is impossible to beat in my opinion. I don't even remotely use it to its fullest potential, but what the little bit I do use? it works fantastic. I Would definitely endorse them.

Um, which vehicles rust the least the ones that aren't driven in the salt. Yeah, if I was going to buy one, the 4420 I had to look at the model number I said I thought was 4425. The 4425 a is their most current Automotive application scope that you can use. so Snap On For the Win Not a chance.

their Scopes are slow. They're backasswards to everybody's scope and the and way you have to use them. I'm not saying that Snap On's junk. it's just extremely overpriced.

Uh, if you're going to buy a Snap-On Zeus that has a scope in it, you're going to pay over 10 grand. Well, we kind of low. buy a laptop, buy a Pico and buy a altel Ultra and you're G to have money left over and you're G to have better tools than what Snapon can provide. Uh, Snapon scan tools are severely overrated.

Uh I've used a lot of their tools uh in the past, but they're They're extremely overrated for what their capabilities are. Um I think people are sold on them because they can pay you know, $8 a month for the rest of their life. Uh, they Su down their software. Their software is wicked old to begin with I Don't know.

to me, they're a waste of money. Uh, on the way back from Florida you're going to Florida uh yeah no you can. You can feel free to stop in. That's fine.

We have people stop in to get t-shirts and say I and shake hands and take selfies. We go like this and we take pictures. It's fun. Scopes Long range? Yes sir.

Um what? Snap-on tools are worth it. and I'm not saying all Snap-on tools are junk. I am a Snap-On Fanboy When it comes to ratchets, I am a Snap-On man. uh I Love the snap-on Cordless 14 Volt ratchet.

There are certain tools that I will pay the overprice for because they work and they work well. Uh, their scan tools are not one of them. I like the you know, the the little U uh Vantage Ultra I Really enjoy that tool I Like the old Vantage too. Nice big screen on it.

it's slow scope. It's not really intuitive to use uh for some of those features. but uh, their scan tools are a waste of money. Uh, you get a much better value in either Launch or altel.
Uh, you know some of those tools. so that's just that's just my opinion. Um, and I'm sorry if you've spent, you know way more than you should on an underpowered scan tool. So yeah, the OG Snap-on brick dude that thing was Rock solad I agree with you Ryan fist bump on that? Um yeah.

so yeah, the Old Brick was great and I'm not trying to hurt anybody's feelings. you know if you got Snap-on scan tools, you know run what you Brun but like I say they're outdated so quickly and so underpowered and just you know they're okay. but I just think people really get a much better value with with other. there's other tools out there that are much better value.

you know, just a better Bank for your buck. Um have I used for scan? yeah I have for scan not for scan for scan I've got that on uh, my one laptop that I do the Fjds with Ford on I have it on there. so yeah. so yeah.

I've used for SK works well. um have I tried uh topd yeah I have tried topd I've got a topd uh thermal imager scope which is pretty freaking awesome I have fiddled with some of their um scan tools but not to a really great extent I see what do they make the Phoenix I think it is that people? Really people in some of the uh Facebook groups really Rave about that. In comparison to some of the higher end Launch and Altel tools, you know that I think it's the Phoenix that they really? talk about. Uh, what pressure transducer do I have I've got the WPS 500 from Pico I had to look over to see what the model number was.

Um, but uh, let's see here. trying to see I thought I saw something up here Phoenix Max is ultra equivalent. Okay yeah so this guy says the Phoenix Max is the ultra equivalent. um have I used the Bernie Thompson uh I have not I have not used his uh tool or uh scope at all is eight channel scope I cannot think of the name of that Stu stinking thing right now.

uh but I have not uh I've seen it, seen it in action but it's nothing I've I've used personally. um uh, let's see I just I missed a question here. I'm losing some of these. There was something about the topology on the Altra Yeah so the Altra has.

you know the brings up the topology which which is nice in in some cases. um it's not a make or break deal for me if you can see the topology. but I have found that most of them that I've looked at on the Altra have been pretty accurate. You know the way it way it breaks up and shows the topology.

so which is kind of nice. No, don't move to Aoka Randall there's nothing here buddy, you're gonna be bored. Um uh, what's the best thermal imager? I'm not really sure. Bill I've got a Fleer and I also have the top Don and they both.

they both work the top Down's cheaper uh and seems to work well. The one I have is your TC 004 tingle Charlie 004 Uh, this thing's pretty phenomenal. It has just as many options as my Fleer uh the battery life on it seems to be better because I don't use them often. so when I go to pick them up yeah, the fleer's usually dead.
got to charge it this thing usually. uh, the battery is still good in it. So I guess that's the only thing that I could say about it I don't have much other input on it because I haven't used a lot of them. You point? Ah, that thing's red.

It's hot. Okay, you know that's about the extent of my testing. Um oh. you guys want to see a dep the new depth stck endoscope.

That this thing is clutch. Wait till you guys see this thing. So I picked this baby up the other day and this thing is wiggity wiggity wiggity whack Uh, what's the model number? I Can't remember what the model number of this one is. It is the Uh DS 630.

So Delta Sierra 630. Here's the screen. All right. No big deal.

Crystal Clear Here's the camera. Okay, it's got a little rubber end on it all right. now. pay attention boys.

What did you just see that? That's right, my guy isn't that? thing great. You go right down in the hole and give her your little. Wiggy Wiggy Wiggy Wiggy This thing is the best thing ever. I was super excited.

Uh when I got this baby because no more mirrors, no more side camera. I'm like oh I'm going down the hole. what's the valves look like? Oh let me just have a little look. oh there they are what.

Oh let me look over here. What isn't that great? I could play with this thing all day long I Don't want to wear it out or go blind. Um, because if you play with it too much, you go blind. That's what they told me I don't know if that's true.

If it's true, every guy in the world would be blind. Um, so yeah, that thing's pretty awesome I should put a link to that and I feel guilty because I have a depth stck endoscope problem I've got like four or five of these suckers of different ones and I show you guys like, hey, look at this one. This one's great. You should buy this one.

Here's a link and now all of a sudden I've got the next one but you already bought the last one and now you're behind and you need the other one. Now you're just like me. So yeah. so anyhow, that thing's pretty awesome.

I will I will give it that uh yeah, that thing is great I've used it a couple times and I tell you what man, just go right in the cylinder, pop back up. Oh look, there's your you know there's your burnt B see the chunk missing right out of it and it thing is crystal clear. uh it has a um beautiful beautiful image. So yep, yeah, this guy said he got a test long DS for it.

they're probably all the same I don't know dep stck teslong they all look the same. but yeah, that articulating uh end on it is that thing's great. yeah you can do a CO ass say going to the doctor probably could I don't recommend it though. $40 coupon on Amazon at the moment this guy says might be a good time to go get him.
uh I could post a link for it but I'll probably forget I probably should though. Um can you take a picture too? Oh yeah you can. You can record video and take snapshots with it. I mean that's yeah.

I mean that's the beauty of it. Like you want to show customer. you know what's up? Yeah, come out here. record down down, wherever.

shine it around. Um, that thing's phenomenal. I mean it's great because you know you're always FID Even the the rigid ones are nice. Don't get me wrong I have one with two cameras I got the one with three cameras I got one with one camera I got the wiggly donger thing.

you know, but you get down in, you know you get down in wherever you're going and ah crap I got to move it just a little bit more. You pull it back out, bend it a little more, stick it back in. you know this thing. go down and give her a little little what's up and that's that.

So oh, let's see the little little Wiggly donger thing. What else you going to call it? the articulating camera? That's no fun, it's a little Wiggly donger uh can you get big boy sizes on my hoodies? 3XL uh I'm not sure Charles I'll have to check on the Teespring I thought they had things right up to three or 4X but I'll I will make a make a note to go double check that. Um, they need to make smaller ones for diesel injector bore holes. so this one I believe you have to go online and double check.

I think the smallest one I have is 5 millimeter which that's pretty small I think most of them are somewhere between six and seven. I've seen them up upwards of nine which is pretty large, but I'm not sure how big the uh injector holes are and trucks that you're working on, but uh yeah, that's that. Uh yeah thanks. John Thanks for reiterating that we're asking for no super chats please, but that was in the first part of the video People might have missed before the audio went wonky on the stinking D stuck camera that we're using.

Uh, let's see old Chippy here. What's he say? Thanks for the past years of reach around references and many more to come. It's the best method ever. Uh, buy some of your favorit this donation.

Thanks Chip oh boy we could go all different ways with that. A three mil camera would be great you know I don't know if they make you could do some Googling I mean they make all kinds of stuff now most of it's from China but if it works, hey, whatever. uh that's it. We only got a few more minutes here folks and I got a skid thoughts on a think car scan tool that Ivan uses uh, looks bidirectional scanner.

Not sure what to get I know he's had great success with it. Uh, personally I have tried those in the past they're they're based on a launch platform so they're just like launch I've tried them in the past and I I wasn't super happy with them and that's just my personal experience. I've tried uh I think you looked through some of my past videos I had some think cars, some think diags, uh and some other of those tools and um I I didn't have good success with them I thought they were slow and clumsy and you know just more Frills and bells and whistles that really didn't didn't add to the tool much. That's my personal opinion.
I Know he's been very successful with his and and enjoys it and uses it and is happy with it as far as I know um so that would probably be a better question to ask Ivan than it would be to ask me. So uh oh, what's the name of the tools you said If they had stores in America they would put a hurting on Snap on That is Top Tool my friend. Top Tool T o TL This company let me get something one that's legible. Uh, the top Tool company.

If anybody would buy a boatload of their tools and sell them in the United States Yes, they would put a hurting on some of the major tool companies. They make some absolutely fantastic tools I Have lots of their tools. There's screwdrivers, there sockets or wrenches. They make a very wonderful tool.

I Wish there was us Distributors where it was easier to get. There are a couple guys that sell their tools in the US I think they're more popular across the pond. uh I could be wrong, but you can typically tell a tool that is good quality just by the hand feel and by using it. I Feel that their tools are very good quality.

In my opinion I would be I Would like to know if anybody else uses Top Tool and has an opinion on them. um I think they're They're absolutely fantastic and if you're thinking about buying them. great. I Would be aware though, if you have a warranty issue, they may be difficult because I I think they come I think they're manufactured in Taiwan I could be wrong.

Um, but their tools are fantastic. Their F finish and just how they work are just absolutely absolutely wonderful. I Really enjoy their tools I wish they were you know in the US or easier to get. Um yeah so let's see that's I think some people are answering some other people's questions.

Oh ready to Rock says they are made in Taiwan yeah um uh yeah. where A screwdrivers are Another great brand. where we a Tools in general although I think slightly overpriced are are of good quality also. So uh I wouldn't hesitate to buy a wearer tool here.

Um yeah. I have wear screwdrivers of course you know so you know I think these are German I think that's where they're made I could be wrong on that too. but you know the wear of screwdrivers are absolutely fantastic and most of you know about the wear. A tool check Plus it's the toolkit with a clip for the mechanic with the on the-go lifestyle.

This is one of my favorite little toolkits. Expensive little booger but I like it I like it a lot. Um so that's a top tool. has a good calendar photos Oh I haven't seen their calendar? Uh yeah, Tool check plus from Weera Uh, let's see so that's it.
Uh folks. What I do need to do though is I need to get going because it's almost that time where I need to go so we're going to wrap it up. Appreciate you guys stopping around. Be on the lookout though for the video with the Flex M 360 Why are we losing focus here? Focus So the Flex Mig 360 we're going to try it out.

don't buy one until we try it because I'd hate to find out a whole bunch of people got ripped off. $200 I would rather get ripped off myself. so let's let's try that out. So we're gonna put that up on a video.

We're gonna see how that little guy works. We're gonna bend it. We're gonna play with it and see if it uh, you know, jams up. I'll be curious to see how the wire feeds through the liner and if it does, if it doesn't melt down on us, then it's money well spent in my opinion.

I'm going to try to get motivated uh to make some more videos I've been investing a lot of time in McCoy He's our young man that comes here in the mornings as an internship uh from a new program started at one of the local high schools. Uh, and that's been delightful. Him and I are doing the working through the scanner Danner Premium Channel watching videos starting to kind of build him from the bottom up and I think Paul Danner does a great job at doing that. so I it's easier for him and I for him to watch a video on his time I watch the same video I bought him the book or got him the book from Paul rather and then we go through that and we talk about it and discuss it and then we hopefully apply it.

you know, throughout the day or the few hours years throughout the week rather. Um, so that's been that's been helpful. It's been kind of lighting a fire uh, back under my hind den and kind of inspiring me and getting me going. So that's been making a little more difficult to do videos because I I'm a man I'm not a woman.

A woman can do like eight things at once and not get distracted. but I'm a man I can only do one or two things at once and get distracted. So I've been investing my time into him and it's been taken away from some of the videos. so don't get mad at me, get mad at McCoy The Real McCoy And that's it folks.

Appreciate you guys stopping in. Appreciate all the the CH chat over here. Yeah, squirrel exactly. JC See you just just.

you Just did it I lost my train of thought. completely shiny. Um, so that's it. But I do appreciate you guys.

Thanks for the super chats. thanks for just coming by and saying hi and leaving a comment having some good one-sided discussion I appreciate that as always and uh yeah, ice cream. Now we're talking but I gotta make like a ball and bounce I was going to use another one but it's super inappropriate so I won't say it. but uh, anyhow guys, thanks for watching and we'll catch you on the next video and be on the lookout for the Flex Mig 360 catch you on.
.

Usually the internet upload speeds are what cause a lot of "streaming" issues. It's often considered a maintenance item to reboot the modem/router/gateway once every month to clear the cache that builds up in memory. Also it helps to be sure the firmware is current and/or the modem/router/gateway is the latest model that the ISP uses and that the "channel bonding" spec is matched and that the DOCSIS version is 3.0 or 3.1 for those who have a cable ISP. The main concern is to be sure the router used regardless of ISP is one of their latest current models. Then, for those who use WiFi for connections, they will experience connectivity issues more often than when using a LAN cable.

Part of my former life involved borescoping industrial gas turbines. We used either GE or Olympus borescopes. The ones we used cost $20K to 30K each. They had a slightly smaller diameter than the one you use and they had changeable lens. But really, for what we used them for…the Depstech would do the job.

I would agree SnapOn is expensive, but they have their strongsuits. I feel the are far superior & easier to use than Autel when it comes to domestic vehicle!!
Autel cannot fully decode a vin on domestic vehicles, especially GM products so it is constantly asking for stupid options just to communicate with the vehicle (i.e. What HVAC Module, Seat Module, Sound System, etc.)
Another thing I do not like about the AUTEL, once your yearly subscription is up that tool is a brick: you cannot use it. Unless you spend another $1700 on the update.

I have the Zues+, Autel Maxisys Ultra, MicroPod II, even an old GM Tech II. The Zues is my go to, unless I am working on a Euro, then I go to the Autel.

When it comes to Oscilloscopes the Pico is the BEST. Hands down.

I moved here to middle America in 1980 and except for the temperature extremes is a nice place. Please give Vanessa and your kids a thumbs up from this "Youtuber". If you ever have the down time run through the favorite scan tool you use. Thank You.

Great WUW chat. I think pin 2 in the mic cable has some green crusties. 🥦.😉 Looking forward to the 360 mig head review. I run .035” wire. Does .030” lay down the dimes easier? I’m pretty darn good at “bird turd” welds myself. Ironically just rebuilt the Mikuni carb on my 92 XT225. Used the “All Balls Racing” brand kit. About $45 vs the $85 for OEM. Runs like new now even using the Canadian pilot screw setting of 2 turns out. 🥶 US just said “preset” but mine was “upset” by previous owner. That BST34 CV carb is on everything from ATVs, bikes and SeaDoos. Yours is probably same or similar. Well, I know you sell at least 2XL SMA hoodies cuz I got one last Xmas. 🙂

I'm waiting (and hoping) that one of these offers is actually for something worthwhile. Reviews on code readers isn't going to fly. Bi-direction, AutoAuth compliant, WITH Topography is bare minimum…TopDon and KingBolen seem to be the current leaders….
As far as borescopes, my dual 5mm is great, but the only thing I'd like more is one with a 12" lead, wifi, AND articulating!
I FREAKING HATE THE STIFF CABLE! (and I'll demo it every chance I get!)
