In this video I run you through the process I use at the shop when a customer wants me to do a stem to stern service and general check over. I have been finding that a lot of folks are taking the time to have their older vehicles gone through and maintenance items done instead of trading them in on new ones. -Enjoy!

Just found this video.
I have 2017 mazda cx5
50000 miles . Service dept at mazda said I need all this now. Thanks for honest video
I am over 80 and I can read a map.
I was wondering why my car was getting so dusty so I went to replace my cabin filter and there wasn't one there hahahaha
Fo Mo Co is the problem with Mazda, if not careful you can get a re-badged Ford instead of Japanese quality.
you are right about the child pick up at the school!!!!!! Don't vote, don't complain!
that hydraulic break fluid can cause some serious kidney damage; wear gloves!!
Do you put all your fluids you extract into one container? Where do you send the waste to?
Came for the education, stayed for the humor. Great video!
Am I wrong in thinking that the Mazda should have a timing belt change at 100K?
My Mazda also does that whining sound. Is all that is needed is power steering fluid? Or is there an issue with the serpentine belt?
The service costs more than the car is worth
You 😁 😂 funny
Silver bullet hell yea..cheers
ErictheCarGuy was 110%✅ about South Main Auto Repair Thanks for sharing what you know with us Thank you 👍
Very KNOWLEDGEABLE

Eric O .. for president !!😝
Awesome channel & outstanding content, much appreciated.
Sleepy Joe?!?! Is better than that corrupt, womanizer, who has more than 50 sexual assaults pending!! and let’s not forget what that idiot did on January 6. Also love your videos did know you were a trump guy!! That’s disappointing for sure!!
👎
I like my drill pump for filling up trannys, rear ends.
“Grease your nipples, that’s the best advice I can give you in life.” That’s when I hit the subscribe button. Then I went right into the bathroom and took your advice.
That's a heck of on oil filler jug – nice long hose, eh?….awaiting reply….
I prefer zmax myself
If you don’t vote you don’t have a dog in the fight!!!!!
Great car. Best engine in the 6.
Hey Eric,
I have a 2009 Mazda 6 sport, 4 cyl.
Car alarm keeps going off randomly. Have you seen this before? What should I look for?
Great mechanic, thanks for all tips
I am looking at a 2015 Mazda 6 with 140,000 miles on it, do you recommend that car? Is it reliable?
You should have a copywrite attached to the sound you hear when you show a can of Brakleen.
I'm with you
Bought a 2013 back in April and I just hit 101k so its time to do most of this. Not sure if I can do the powersteering but everything else I should be able to do. (Car had a complete brake job before I bought it so the fluid is fine.)
Did you check the gap, on those plugs?? Even New can be off.🤔👍
Don't worry bro, I always grease my nipples.
Hey South Main, quick question for you. I have a 2009 Mazda 6 2.5, I asked a shop to flush my transmission and they would not do it. Said that it needs a special tool, and that the system might be pressurized and they didn't want to cause problems. How do you feel about this? Thank you!
The glove box? Why is there a filter in there?
Fuel injector deep cleanings. How often should this get done or is this a run bottle of cleaner every 10-20,000 miles till you run into an issue with them?
The classic feel through 😂😂👌
Bought an astro pneumatic light after watching your video. Now I want that battery tester. Where can I get one?
Eric, I enjoy watching your videos. Just a question, if I may. I have a 2005 Toyota Tundra SR5 Access Cab, Step Side with just over 188,000 miles. I'm going to need to do the 200,000 mile service. What types of things should they be trying to "sell" me as far as service? I'm thinking serpentine belt, for sure. The timing belt was changed back at 107,000 miles. Tires are less than 2 years old.
Why do you never clean the battery terminals and the connections with (Holts
No Corrode) and the terminals at the chassis. Windscreen wiper motor.
all the big old homes looks like a time capsule
this would cost at least a thousand dollar in texas
would not find another mechanic do this kind of service
One cabin filter tip is cut the front panel off the new filter box (or other cardboard) and slide it under the existing filter before removing from housing. Catches anything that falls off the filter & keeps it out of the blower.
Don't know why they started putting these things behind the glove box. Under the front cowl made more sense.
Uh, O Mrs O!
“Sleepy Joe” and “it’s all rigged anyway… so true. The best service I’ve ever seen. Didn’t think anybody knew how to perform a service job any more till now.
Yes. Always Remember at 100,000 miles to check and remove the "Dead Bodies" ….dispose only after Wrapping with Approved Materials and weights.
What about the Fuel Filter??
Those Struts look like 😳😳😳🤬
I NEED to use that spill free funnel. Blind in one eye, can't see out the other. Lol.
