Can is likely worn toward perfectly round, no longer the carefully machined elliptical profile it once was.
Definitely a lifter job, probably a cam at yhis point. For those saying to delete MDS, I believe cylinder 3 does Not deactivate

The problem is when they redesigned the Hemi,and moved the cam up in the block about an inch,Under 1200 rpm's there is no Oil splash getting to the cam, So that means the cam is not getting constant lubrication,And Due to non Costant oil lubrication,it eats the cam up with the lifter riding on top of the cam with no lubrication, So now it needs a new cam and lifters, I never understood why they did not put some kind of a Lubricating hole in the bottom of the lifter,and on the sides of the lifters so they would get constant lubrication on the lifters,and cam This would have stopped this problem, As long as you don't let it sit and idel,for long periods of time under 1200 RPMs and keep it above 1200Rpms
It doesn't have this problem, I thought maybe the people in the aftermarket,who makes lifters would have fixed this problem,so you could buy updated lifters, I guess they make more money selling a cam and lifters, Then fixing the problem, Thank you Eric appreciate the video,

@SchrodingersBox had one with the same problem on cylinder one.
cam lobe or lifter is shot. im not sure if these have collapsible lifters, usually a collapsed lifter wont move it at all but i see its moving it just a little bit, which kinda tells me the roller on the lofter siezed and the cam and lifter are now scraping each other and its been like that for a while now. when you hear engine noises, STOP people. im sure you can feel and hear the misfire, and it could be making engine noise as well.

There is nothing wrong with the hemi platform if properly maintained.
Not changing the oil at the proper intervals or excessive idling. If you do change the lifters and cam in it put high volume oil pump on it.

There's a tap to that misfire from the lifter eating the cam
Might be low oil pressure, as I recall the oil pressure squirts oil all over the place even when cranking

Yep, it looks like #3 intake is pulling a chevy disappearing cam lobe trick. Remember back in the 80's there were so many chevy cams going bad you could buy a 350 cam lifters & timing set at the drugstore? Under hood temp went up by 240ยฐF while overdrive was introduced slowing the oil return and thinning what there was returning so much that it didn't make it to all the cam lobes. All we had was "popping" in the air cleaner, no fancy cylinder misfire counts. Was this a $ lite? GM fixed it by putting wheels on their lifters. aka "rollers." Ben Tested Tough michigan

Classic Hemi cam and lifters job. I've only ever personally been in 2011s and 12s for this issue. That and the Pentajunk for rocker arms. I'm SURE someone else will say they been inside other year Hemis, just my personal experience. I'm an independent guy, not a Chrysler tech

Flat cam lobe due to lifter roller bearings failing. Put a hellcat oil pump in it and new lifters and cam and it will fix this problem from what I heard. Hellcat oil pump is higher volume and fixes the oil pressure problems that these engines have when idled a lot especially police vehicles

Cam lobe gone, needle bearings in lifter feel out. Roller either seized up or the side skirt of lifter got camshaft. Just did a 2013 and a 2015 dodge ram.

We all know what is wrong. The Roller Lifter bearings failed and the lifter's body ate the Camshaft lobe. We have the same year Hemi and have fingers crossed ours doesn't fail. Huge job to repair not to mention the metal filings raising havoc.

It appears your #3 cam lobe is roundy and not teardroppy as it should be. Recommend a non Hemi engine.
