New cam coming 😂
Worn cam or bad lifter?
Dropped valve seat on top piston bent pushrod probly broke piston rod also
Low on gas like me!
cam lobe is worn.
Cam. And lifters.
Intake cam lobe worn
Can is likely worn toward perfectly round, no longer the carefully machined elliptical profile it once was.
Definitely a lifter job, probably a cam at yhis point. For those saying to delete MDS, I believe cylinder 3 does Not deactivate
Wiped out cam lobe!
MDS? Cam lobe eaten by the lifter…lack of oil
The problem is when they redesigned the Hemi, and moved the cam up in the block about an inch,Under 1200 rpm's there is no Oil splash getting to the cam, So that means the cam is not getting constant lubrication,And Due to non Costant oil lubrication,it eats the cam up with the lifter riding on top of the cam with no lubrication, So now it needs a new cam and lifters, I never understood why they did not put some kind of a Lubricating hole in the bottom of the lifter, and on the sides of the lifters so they would get constant lubrication on the lifters, and cam This would have stopped this problem, As long as you don't let it sit and idel, for long periods of time under 1200 RPMs and keep it above 1200Rpms
It doesn't have this problem, I thought maybe the people in the aftermarket, who makes lifters would have fixed this problem,so you could buy updated lifters, I guess they make more money selling a cam and lifters, Then fixing the problem, Thank you Eric appreciate the video,
Hope you and Mrs's O are staying warm God bless you both.
Vtec not engaging on #3
Rounded lobe…sounds like another hemi warranty claim
Cylinder 3 cam lobe has left the chat. I'm guessing the idle hours are pretty high on that one
Lifter failed witch in turn caused the cam to fail
Cam not lifting properly
@SchrodingersBox had one with the same problem on cylinder one.
cam lobe or lifter is shot. im not sure if these have collapsible lifters, usually a collapsed lifter wont move it at all but i see its moving it just a little bit, which kinda tells me the roller on the lofter siezed and the cam and lifter are now scraping each other and its been like that for a while now. when you hear engine noises, STOP people. im sure you can feel and hear the misfire, and it could be making engine noise as well.
Been there done that roller lifter worn cam shaft.
CAMAROONIND!
There is nothing wrong with the hemi platform if properly maintained.
Not changing the oil at the proper intervals or excessive idling. If you do change the lifters and cam in it put high volume oil pump on it.
Cam lobe
People saying the cam lobe is almost gone from #3 cylinder…it's just cold, don't shame the poor little guy.
#3 intake cam lobe wasted
Bad lifter or bad cam or both its a hemi
Lifter came appart!
Its obviously just starting eco mode. Give it time it will be full eco mode
cyl #3 not getting nearly enough lift… collapsed lifter?
Someone put the wrong rocker arm ratio on that cylinder…
Got 2 hemi engines on the floor right now,
It’s because it’s not a true hemi
Broken intake spring
That there eggs-in-trickle lobe ain’t no lobe no mo
Wiped cam lobe
Ate a cam lobe from too much idle time… these don't like that.
Bad camshaft
Cylinder delete mod.
That cam ain’t cammin anymore
It's a Jeep thing.
There's a tap to that misfire from the lifter eating the cam
Might be low oil pressure, as I recall the oil pressure squirts oil all over the place even when cranking
