03 crank-no start. Thinking to change ignition switch but better check for 'green crusties" first. Or you could check it 4 me?

  14. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars gary vincent says:

I watched one of your videos on a Trail Blazer ignition switch trouble shooting, which lead mw to change my switch. It ran good for about 1/4 mile and died again. Tested like what you did in part one and bought another switch replaced and Nothing! If I jump the pink it lights up the dash but no crank. I hope your part two helps me!

  17. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Lynn Witt says:

just had a no crank problem on my 2007.5 2599hd that turned out to be a burnt, shorted purple trigger wire to the starter solenoid. crappy engineering on the wire routing. had to go through and relocate several harness sections away from risky friction points.pain in ass, and 3 days lost.

Slow down to go fast I've had to tell myself that a thousand times an it works every time

  29. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Griff the Drummer says:

That's what I like about the way you work. You putting that little piece of hose in the bottom of that fuse box to prevent that wire from getting cut was great ! The average shop would not do that, or even think about it. That type of thinking separates the men from the boys … Great job dude !!

  30. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Steven Sterling says:

Learned more in the last three days watching your you tube videos than I've learned on you tube in the last 5 years. You are very good at explaining the what, why, and whats next

  32. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Daniel Alamo says:

I don't have your special equipment to plug in and diagnose the problem. Which is why my truck spent almost a month more in than out of the shop. Truck kept going to limp mode for the #2 injector harness. It was already fixed and a complete new wire and ground were run. FICM was swapped and still nothing. I asked if it could be the injector itself. No no no!! Well it was the injector itself that was shorting out causing limp mode for the #2 injector harness. Anyway I watched because of now the truck has an ignition issue. Sometimes when the key is turned to start the truck nothing happens. And then it will start. Our truck is a 2004.5 lly GMC 2500hd Sierra duramax 4×4.

Great video, I have been having issues with my 2012 gmc Sierra traction control and stabilitrac lights coming on. I ran the codes on it and said it was the crankshaft sensor. So I changed it and relearned the sensor. Still have t and s lights on. It's driving me nuts. I think I'm gonna change the spark plugs first then look at the fuse box like you did. Any suggestions would help thanks again.

  38. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Gus Racette says:
