I pay 2.5 dollars per liter of diesel. Dont know about gallons freedom eagles per mile etc but thought it would make you less irritaded about your prices
Often I use ratcheting straps to lower the tank
Kermit in the background during the reclicking the fuel hoses was good
He's got "One Bolt" "One Strap" and "One Beer"
i would think never enough current on circuit to burn plastic
I was shouting at the screen "You forgot the fuel filler hose clamp" but you remembered. I knew you would.
never mind
Why do Americans pronounce Nissan as NEE-san instead of Ni-san?
There isn't even a soft "e" in the word let alone a double hard "E".
Regardless I still think your videos are excellent and have given me many hours of pleasurable and informative viewing.
did you remember to tighten the filler hose clamp
I have replace 3 fuel in the tank fuel pumps and 2 “not in the tank” in my time as a driveway mech-nick. None of them have ever gone that smoothly.
Those; pumps are over 60 70 grand I had to buy mine respect them
PUSH! PUSH! PUSH! Yeah, with 10,000 pounds of cargo! in it! 😆
I KNEW U WILL FORGET TO TIGHTEN THE FILLER HOSE…… Do U require to wear steel toe boot ??????
Neet flashlight magnet @Rainman Ray's Repairs
Like the tik tok video goes "I know what's wrong with it, ain't got no gas in it"😂😂
Super easy job dropping the tank on this one always nice beating the clock when removing the tank over using the Inspection cover @Rainman Ray's Repairs
Next time install the retainer clip on the pressure line then just install the line on the pump.
Cheap gas $5 for 30 gallon, I pay 30 gallon =113.562354 for €1,99 per liter = €226!
Lol
From hammer and chisel not used on tank lock ring Aww But pneumatic Hammer and chisel Bit used Lmfao 🤣🤣 good one @Rainman Ray's Repairs
Did you tighten the clmp on fill hose?
I would like to hear what the customer says about empty tank.
Was Rolly Chairs a country star?
Curious was there a smell that came out of your shoe when you blew the air in them?? LOL
[Karl] It ain't got no gas in it.[/Karl]
Got to love it, I drop by for a dose of real life, clicks and gravity service.
When you pushed the van in, I was worried that you might take that guy's door off of that GMC Duramax Diesel. (Yes, I know that it's yours, Ray). Also, I 100% agree with you on your choice of tools to remove/install the locking ring on the pump!
Jackhammer it 😂😂😂I love it
If you look on the fuel cap door on most vehicles there is a metal hook welded to the door, it's there for you to hang the fuel cap instead of it hanging on your finder paint
Best dam part shoe ac 😂😂
87 octanes for three dollars and 69 cents YEP!!!
Since access was supposed to be through the cargo floor; I am amazed Nissan did not make dropping the tank a next to impossibility. You'd think they would have buried those strap bolts. I think you got lucky fella.
For a vehicle with 99000 on it the under side of it looks brand new.. I'm in northern Illinois so you understand my amazement
On your fuel tank door. Their is a little tab to hang your gas cap
Howdy Ray! Good day to you sir!
Vehicle diagnosis… " It ain't got no gas in it"!! END OF TRANSMISSION!!
I'm glad you were aware that you did indeed have to demonstrate the flashlight magnet.
I was gonna comment if he remembered to tighten down the filler hose clamp decided to watch til the end before I did and happy he remembered lol good job ray
Finally a flashlight magnet that won't keep falling down like that "snap-down" 😑
It's funny. A lot of people think it's the liquid part of the gasoline that burns when it's not. It's the vapors that are flammable and they don't float up. They actually float low to the ground like a fog.
Hi Ray.
do check the sender unit before you replace the tank i got pissed of once I did a rover 214 1.4L and didn't check the new sender unit i had to do the job twice the worse thing was its bolts where rusty a couple broke man I had to get the old broken bolt's out that took me AGES lol still have nightmares about this to this day 🇬🇧☕👍🏻
Oh Ray, Ray, Ray – we ALL love rolly chairs. That's why we watch. We know they're coming – we just don't know when…
A hammer and chisel is the only tools I've ever used to get the rings off. Been doing it for 40 years and haven't been blown up yet.
You could always use a brass punch or chisel to do the removal and install of the retainer ring.
Pulled a fuel pump out of a customer's vehicle one time. Found the fuel tank 3/4 full of sand. The authorities got involved with that one.
Back in the day we used tri-chlor as a solvent. We had one guy that would always smoke around it. Man I hated that. Thought if he ever got lit up, too bad for him. The camera inside the tank was a little dark, you should have lit a candle for more lumens.
Had an '85 GMC 1/2 ton with dule tanks. Just died on me one night. Next day buddy and I spent 8 hours trying everything from filter to lines to pump to get it going again. Turns out the crossover valve faild and switched to the default tank, which was empty. Didn't want to remove the bed to access it so drained the full tank and ran off the one that worked.
You forgot the filler, did you remember the vent?
Ain't got no gas in it.
2002 Nissan pulsar/what ever the hell they call them in America access is ub=nder back seat rough guess 15-20 minute job.
Off topic, here's a little query i've always wanted to know? What equipment does the garage provide for the mechanic; do they supply the battery charger, AC charger, floor jacks and welders or do the mechanics have to provide that equipment for themselves.
