Liquid Wrench…….old school. It’s like Seafoam , use it all the time even though Scotty says it’s a complete waste of time because it doesn’t contain PEA. I’ve cleaned everything , all types of parts with Seafoam wit success.
Hi Eric awesome video learning a lot thanks again 🇺🇸🇺🇸
I like the WalMart SuperTech spray because it is cheap. Seafoam because it smells the best. Marvel+Acetone probably works the best to break free but you have to make it fresh or the acetone evaporates.
Time for the alignment and another satisfied customer!
When I started doing alignments on Ford trucks…used a 5 ton porta power to bend axles.
Thanks Eric! Great class. I've done this job on my 2001 Superduty, and it's involved. Appreciate it!
Lucky that piece that hit you in the head wasn’t breathing. It may not have went well for it.
Where are the rodents
She looks about as thrilled as my wife does when I ask her to help me with something on my van 🤣
I use deep creep from sea foam. I love it. Public works here uses a magic potion I cannot seem to find.
Got baseball batted with my drag link today as I was pickle forking the steering tire rod end, the castle on the tie rod link let got.. shiner and a lumpy face🤣🤪

Yep… We learned several lessons from your minor mistake. Please don't edit those out. Thanks!
Been turning wrenches professionally for about 30 years in the worst rust belt known to man, Quebec and ironically did the same job on two different f250 this week. I agree totally about penetrate fluid being so so at best .love your videos' Eric .i use a tape measure from end of tube to stud of tie rod instead of counting turns and both trucks were bang on for toe adjust, probably lucky tho lol.i didn,t see all your videos on this job i assume you covered that the camber caster sleeve has to be clean and lubed to avoid torque steer problem and that there is a sequence to follow when tighten the ball joints lower 44 ft lbs then upper 70 ft lbs then lower again at 150 ft lbs all to avoid the torque steer problem
Lenny from Australia you remind me so much of me when i was your age ,great videos AND TO THE YOU CALLERS ONLY RING IF YOU WANT WORK DONE
Thank you for your informative video
I just love how everyone likes to complain about Youtubers calling Eric its called a secretary or an answering machine for out of area code callers I watch to see how to DIY Since my shop sold to another owner and I dont trust just anyone to touch my vehicles
I like, but get a camera tripod.
What's the white stuff you used on the threads?
Rinnnnnnng,,,rinnnnģ
You the man Dr. O Great entertainment and a bonus tie rod video can’t beat it!!
From Michigan an auto mechanic that works on steam engine at Greenfield Village uses transmission fluid it breaks down a lot of stuff
Penetrating oil is snake oil, but I still use it because it makes me feel better.
The tie rod end that you put, you know what brand they are .. I need to change the ones on my truck but the moogs are very expensive
PB Blaster. Best penetrating oil made. You're Welcome.

I like the smell of Kroil. That makes it the best.
"Right in the thinker," sorry man but that was funny as shit, ha ha ha🤪🤣🤣😂! Anyway great video, VERY informative and right to the point. Thank you for the video and I gave this video a gigantic thumbs up. Take care bud. 👍
Thanks for the videos! I really appreciate that your videos show when "whoops" happen and how to fix the boo-boo because Papa Jon certainly makes more than his fair share and the whoops correction is often vitally important to learn…
I can't understand why people think it's OK to call Eric for free advice but these same people wouldn't dare call their local Firestone, Ford, Toyota, Subaru dealer for the same free advice. If you want advice then use a Haynes or Chiltern manual. Also go to some of the internet forums where people routinely ask others for advice. I would love to ask Eric for advice about my car and I know 1000 other people would too. My solution is to watch his videos and research online while leaving him alone to make a living.
He should set-up a toll number and cash in
What all tools did you use to Remove and replace the outer tie rods? Like the bolt size and did you use a pickle fork to remove outer rod?
Thanks for the video
I do think kroil is the best on the market but with that being said it needs heat cycles to work at it’s best which one could make the argument that the heat cycles is really what broke the fastener loose to being with. But it has saved my bacon many times.
I have read that a survey was done by all military motor pool wrenchers and they all agreed that a 50/50 mix of ATF and acitone works best as a liquid wrench and any ATF works as well as another……..and would be cheap to produce in bulk…..and what the hell why not use your old ATF!
i like you
How much do you charge for a job like this?
Eric, I watched another you tuber do a brake job. Compared to yours it was like watching paint dry. Keep them coming love the video’s
I enjoy the fact that you don’t edit the tough parts out it makes it more believable. I don’t feel so bad when things don’t go as planned. I just give it a little more Ugga Duga.
Awesome job thank you for doing this it helped me a lot !!!!
