Do you undercoat vehicles that have a waxy coating from the manufacturer such as GM ?
Used automatic transmission fluid will do a similar job , could use new , but using old is cheap an recycling an won't destroy your bushings , I just wouldn't use burnt transmission fluid that smells .
Just wondering; with the new cars now is it really necessary to drill holes in the body. Manufacturers now leave access ports in their bodies.

I like to just clean up rust. Spray on WD40. Then after a few hours paint on 0W oil with a brush. I only put oil on metal surfaces. Paint, plastic and rubber are avoided at all cost.

Anyone with the "competitor's product" falling off means one of 2 things, either it was poorly applied by unskilled workers, or people aren't doing their due diligence and going back for their annual re-applications (just like Krown has annual applications too, according to this video).
I’ve had my 97 chev 4×4 krowned since new and have no rust
Broke down and had my Tundra Krowned. I went to a shop in Salem NY. They did an good job from what I can see. Very happy with their customer service, forgot my coffee mug there (they knew I was from pretty far away in NJ) and they even mailed it back. Funny- I then got my oil change at Toyota and the Toyota oil change and the service manager wanted to show "all the oil under my truck". HaHa ($probably thought he was going to get to go home early on that one$) Nope I had it Krowned.

Krown is garbage. nice infomercial, too bad their product is garbage. I use fluid film, I've tried everything, fluid film for me. I'm going to make a video today and show you what fluid film has done to protect my California vehicles after 10 salty winters. And it takes me several hours to do a full size vehicle, granted I don't have a hoist, but 40 minutes? Even if they were using fluid film, it's the same time to spray any product. it's just that they don't spray it everywhere it needs to be sprayed. And I'll show my vehicles, you be the judge
i live in Canada the GREAT WHITE NORTH lol and i get Krown Rust Proofing every year it really does work BUT if you don't get it rust proofed before the date it was done they won't warranty it from rusting
Killer video…..I like to hose off the salt after a good snow but apparently it doesn’t matter. I wonder if there is a salt release equivalent that can be had. Citrus degreaser?
Not sure why waste money on expensive shit. Use degreaser clean out oils and what not under your car. Rinse and dry it. Use primer, reg paint and apply clear coat. Never gonna see rust ever. And if you're replacing your own parts like control arms and such components u can always paint and coat them too before u put them on.
Blows my mind that there is not a SINGLE Krown facility in all of Chicagoland – I made an appointment for tomorrow morning at my nearest Krown facility…Ft. Wayne, Indiana – 240miles one way. Chicago is one of the capitols of the Rust Belt.

I'm from Denver but have also lived in Alaska. I wonder if Crown has found their way to either of those locations.
Tossing in a handy tip – After the Krown spray, go for a short drive at higher speeds. The moving air around your vehicle will move some of the extra Krown along the flow paths of where moisture from a wet day would go anyway. The vehicle will still drip dry for a day or two but some of that otherwise wasted Krown will be pushed and blown into places the water and salt would as well.
Got my pontiac vibe krowned .live in Canada and salt on the roads during winter and salt eats vehicles.

Why choose krown over fluid film? I'm going to buy a new truck soon and want to get it undercoated right away. I don't want to deal with the nightmare of rust anymore.
Great Q&A session, very informative. I live in Newfoundland Canada where the climate is brutal on vehicles. Ice control in winter and salt spray from the Atlantic take their toll on anything made of steel, even Superman would rust in these parts. I will be buying a new truck very soon and will definitely be going with the Krown product. The 2005 Truck I am presently driving was not rust protected, and I have payed the price for that over the years with rotted lines and a host of other corrosion related issues. The latest issue was a rotted out rear differential cover, which I can no longer find a replacement part for and ended up doing a repair. The first stop when I drive off the lot with the new truck will be Krown.

Is it good to get a new car under coated?
Cars are better then before as far as rust goes . The salt though is a killer and upstate NY gets a lot of snow , really hard on vehicles .
Been using this stuff since it came out in the 1980's. My 1986 Caravan went to the scrap yard 22 years later with 460,000km and 0 rust!
I've had my car rust proofed by Krown for years andnI paid $130 CDN each visit. I felt like a good car owner until multiple mechanics told me my car is rusted to hell and to get rid of it. Never going to Krown again!

Another data point here. I've been rustproofing my vehicles for over 25 years in northern Vermont. My experience with oil rustproofing has been excellent. Vehicles mostly rust from the inside out, especially during the warmer months of spring and summer or heated garage. If the technician applies the oil correctly, the life of your car will be greatly extended. Remember (Moisture + Salt + Heat) = ACCELERATE RUST). Like the man said, oil will lift moisture off metal and slow down the corrosion process. I touch up my vehicles each time I change tires from fall to winter or winter to spring.
U S Army used cosmoline still available in spray cans. Anyone with a plow truck and salt spreader is nuts if they dont do this twice a year. I do it in fall and spring. Frames rot out lines body cab mounts etc. Use a fruit pump sprayer from home depot and mix gesr oil with kerosene . Krown doesnt was off and is the best not a tar which gets hard and cracks trapping salt causing more rust. Krown smells like cosmoline.

One of the best things you can do for rust protection is to add large mud flaps to both front and rear wheels. Many new vehicles don't even have any factory installed mud flaps. I would do this first.
Also, spraying any products on the outside is not enough. You need to get it inside the body panels. It's very important to check and clean factory moisture drain holes on the bottom of all body panels. Make sure they are not plugged with mud or any leftover corrosion protection products.
Years ago I purchased a case of Krown rustproofing in spray cans. Great rustproofing. Goes on wet and get in all the seams and when it dries its almost like cosmoline or what they spray on new brake rotors just out of the box. Wish I could purchase the spray locally. Great stuff and you need to be in a really harsh environment to have to reapply it. Touch up in certain areas was all that was required in my area.
My family has been using Krown for 20 years now on all their vehicles (we live in Atlantic Canada, lots of road salt). Krown is messy, it's not for somebody who likes a pristine engine bay but it works. The only thing (and I'm glad you touched on it) is the door seals, over time they swell and sag and need to be replaced. Another thing I'll mention is the product is hard on exhaust components, especially mufflers. Every vehicle I've had Krown'd has developed holes in the muffler or for the muffler to rust off around the flange prematurely.
For the last 2 weeks this has been in my Watch Later list, I thought it was "Known Rust Proofing".
