Done.
U should hire grab bucket bobcat would of done it in half the time
Ya got some skills with the Bobcat . Awesome p.s. Keep the Dream movin forword !
Wow, that is a ton more space. Lookin good Ray! Hats off to Rob for helping to you.👍👍
Wife unit we need to expand the shop.
Why?
Well…the duramax doesn’t really fit & I have toys to put on.
😂
Hope you had an asbestos report done before ripping all that out
It looks like used to be a deli counter there with diamond plate stainless steel wall
Mmmm, lovely intro!
How about running a long chain threw it and PULL
RainMan. I suggest you turn fan around and blow dust OUT
I would definitely would put a lift outside under the canopy for quick services like an oil change or an inspection being you're in Florida
Ray, don't film your keys in HD!
Number 1 thing to do when demo is to have the dumpster as close as possible you were sure driving a lot. But got the job done way to go. What is your plans for the space
A bucket with a grabber would have helped.
51 percent professional, 49 percent Florida Man. It worked out fine.
If that hood vent works you could use that as a welding station to suck out fumes. Looking great brother!
If the mechanic’s don’t work out we know you can do destruction sorry i mean construction 😉
Dang Ray, all ready? I ❤ it seeing you making more space, means one thing to me.. You are going the right way and are smashing it.. After watching you at the very start it wasn’t that long and i said this guy needs his own shop & i knew you could do it. I know at first you were reluctant to make that move because of the security of your last employment and i know how that feels when you have a family to support and bills to pay. I believe things are mapped out for us in life,, it just depends on the decisions we make to either take one path or another. I knew you would be ok, i’m glad you took that leap of faith, i’m sure everyone on here feels the same. The only people which aren’t happy,,, is your old employers 😂..
You need spanked chain shud never touch hydraulic cylinders rams dents will destroy seals
I wonder if Ray enjoys Andrew Camarata videos?
Was that structure you are removing a former commercial kitchen? Looks like your space was used by a catering service. One side was where the food would be prepped and the other side was for loading the food trucks. Maybe you relayed all that history already and I missed it.
A 4 in one bucket would’ve been very helpful
Wrecking man Ray. That turned out pretty good.
Nice sink area.. good place for a kitchen and a proper coffee machine..
.. but that would defeat the purpose of knocking it all down..
i thought you were renting this place lol
The suspense surrounding whether your car lift would survive and the trusses cantelevering to wipe out the ceiling hvac was on the level with Guillermo del Torro video directing, Ray. Bravo. 👍
Poor little machine…
..built like a tank..
Look up Big ass fans and big ass lights out of Texas ditch the big over head lamps the burn too much energy.
Your better off going LED lights.
Ok here is my idea about the shop, add a European floor lift in the enter way of the main shop. A aliment rack in the new part of the garage, and a 2 post lift at its entrance but your going to need a 16×10 door added to the new shop area. A tire machine, and balancer. Brake lathe and spring compressor.
I remember a body shop owner who had a spring compressor that used compressed air. I dont think thats safe, a safe way to do it is a hydrlic pump and clamp style compressor that has a safty lock system, you could have one built
The pump could both run your 1 ton press and a spring compressor. All you need is a pump, lines and a hydrlic 2 way ram, this could easily be a 3 ton system
You'll also need a valve body, these parts are used on heavy equipment like a cat
Or bobcat. Find a broken one and rebuild it. Most the times is blowen out rubber seals.
Id also turn one of the big slop sinks into a parts cleaner. Just take off the water faucet and water drain pipe, it dranins into a tank you put a pump into this pumps into the sink you can use a plug or whatever also you can add a filter system.
This video makes me sad – destruction of so many perfectly good cinder blocks (I mean, concrete Lego bricks). 😢 Too many non-planny plans.
Ha, ha. Just kidding. 😂 Does anyone know the resale value of cinder blocks these days? 🤣🤣😆😆😅😊
Should have had the dumpsters closer! I also know a family with 4 kids just down the street. They could’ve demolished everything in 10 minutes.
Curious what the new space used to be
Extra maneuver room is ALWAYS needed in a shop. I give it 2 weeks before you have it in a good usable condition.
I'm disappointed. No dynamite…
Ray i need to warn you on Telegram spam as no way to message you
I thought it was interesting that this video 99% showed only the skid-steer demoing stuff and trying to scoop it up to dump it. Where were the demo saws and why didn't you quickly cut up a bunch of the rafters, wall sections, etc so you guys could throw right-sized pieces in the bucket to fill it up all the way for every trip? It just seems like the demo saws would have made hauling all of the debris away much faster and easier. It was an interesting video as far as knocking down big stuff with a skid-steer goes, but most of it would not fit in the skid-steer bucket without being cut up or broken up into smaller sections somehow.
Reeeee! You didn't say what make and model of skidsteer it was (yes, I saw it was a Bobcat), and how many hours were on the clock!
Joking aside, good to see the expansion for more business.
Looks like mama wants that stainless sink against the back wall closest to the door.
Got any plans for that other long one to the left of the wife unit sink?
Can you use something like that for electroplating or chrome plating?
You put a set of chrome headers on the project Jeep. What if you just ordered a set of bare metal headers and you were able to chrome them yourself?
Then again, that's really labor intensive, and might end up costung more than just ordering chrome parts to begin with.
Just wondering where your head's at on that long sink.
No, I don't want to buy it.
Boys with their toys. You're having way too much fun with that skid steer. lol
And you damaged little shed for compressor. You need to fix it back.
LOL I think I would have tried to recycle the plywood. I heard it's a hurricane repellent.
I appreciate the content.
Too bad the new big doors weren't already installed to give you better access.
With 483,000 subscribers, I can just imagine what it would look like if every willing soul converged on the shop to help out. 😆
Even when you correct for all us old geezers that can only sit and watch it all happen, there is still an impressive number of potential helpers.
Dang! I need a channel. I can't hardly get my grandson to help me out around here anymore.
Imagine your power to effect nearly a half million people from around the world. Blows my mind.
Too bad the new "compressor room" closet got half-wrecked. If you had cut the wall all the way to the top it might have saved it. Not too big a deal you can still fix it. Having the compressor in its own closet it is a huge plus. The noise from a compressor can get pretty annoying after a while.
Your poor lungs! I wish you’d have worn a dust mask. Who knows what all sort of mess was in there.
woops you broke your aircompressor room
A lot of good lumber destroyed. You may wish you had that in the future. Nothing like having virtually free stuff for future use.
poor mechanic, poor equipment operator, but he is very good at running his lips and taking subscribers for a ride.
it good to see that there are still men of many talents around…
Ray's Demolition Service
Clamp bucket would've sped things up
Just asking, why didn't you get the grappling I stead of the bucket??
Now what was Wife unit upto while you were killing it . Nice job
Another!
Why was there a kitchen in there?
I think we need a sticker for flashlights that says, "Need More Lumens!"
All I know is Ray had some good parents
Didn't even save the trusses remember wood is getting up there with it's price salvage as much with wood that could not rotten to the core
If you can't make it as a tech, then you could go into construction! 🤣
Thanks!for brake clean
Hi Ray, I have a feeling you are going to have to expand more pretty soon….
Hope you save those sinks. They could come in handy. As far as all of that concrete block, the ones not full of concrete could be used or sold for a variety of jobs. Don’t waste them.
Everything is slowly coming together. Keep up the good work and don't lose sight of the big picture.
my excitement level for you is… exceptional. Why? I dunno really. You got a good weird personality. Also know you your shit. I respect that. LFG for the next video. Try not to burn out. Editing this crap is.. ugh.. more work that work sometimes. OK less than 2min in and .. alrighty lets just fire up some heavy machinery.. nope nope…. how?!?! bruh… the skill level…
edit 2.. 3?
OMG how cool is that view from the trailer unloading? dude… you got a view for (the word escapes me currently).
edit 450… doing demo next to your existing lift… yup… puckered.
edit: 26526… man… the footage cuts…. so much respect here. this is a TON of work.
also for reference. each cinder block is… roughly THIRTY POUNDS.
i am a contractor in the netherlands.🤣👍 lmao good job Ray
gonna have so much room for activities
Debris gravity!
man when u managed to lift that long reinforced debris chunk by wedging it into the bucket i was impressed af! 🙂
Word to the wise, Don't open a bobcat rental place in florida
Heh, like a kid in a candy store. Smashing stuff up is always fun
your one chance to do a collab with andrew camarata and you blew it 🙂
Boys and their toys go Ŕày
Yoo, whats the link for those long wrenches that you use? Round in both ends with 2 sizes
No disassembo, Ray Unit.
Cut, stack, sell.
Too late now.
What did the other side used to be? I see some nice sinks and maybe some nice shelves?
Cant believe you do not use any dust protection for you lungs.
👍🏻😎
Much needed space.
Save the wash sink! You'll need it🙌
I wonder destructive work is vastly…. but wood is expensive….some time lost and sold the wood…dry and strait…. just wondering
Did I miss a video on why this is happening or what the plans are for the area. Seems we just went straight to demo
Letsdig 18 he is not. Well here we go again He started out with a plan that ended as soon as he started up the skid steer
That was immensely satisfying. Having that space will be great for your business.
I love it Ray! Have fun expanding because we cant wait to see what you do next! You're living the dream many people will never be able to experience and showing your children hard work pays off when you apply yourself and surround yourself with good people lile the friends and family you have there. You are inspiring me to make videos muself as part of my expansion in to my mobile business.
Having fun
A real Florida Man would have used a gas powered concrete saw while standing in an elevated bucket…that's how my dad does it. He's not a Florida Man though.
I applaud your effort, but Ray soo many safety violations! Be safe your family is counting on you.
Oh Yeah!
Pretty sure that your method of cutting that rebar with the concrete blocks hanging off of it was NOT OSHA approved.
…but if it's a stupid idea and it works… maybe it's not such a stupid idea 😉
Thank goodness one of you had the brains to protect your lungs.
Man, running a bobcat has to be one of the more fun things you can ever do… 😀
Next time try finding a skid steer with a grapple bucket. Trust me, after doing many demolition projects that's the best way of doing it.
اللهم صل على محمد وآل محمد
you should have taken the time to cut the trusses before renting the skid steer. Safer that way and would have saved time on the rental.
So, what's Plan B for the air compressor? Now that Mr. Closet has been compromised?
Paint the walls after the rebuild. You won’t regret it. Love your channel.
Might wanna save some of those cinder blocks.
Wouldn't moving the trailer into the shop be easier for getting rid of the stuff you've knocked down already?
