Ah Ray, ya screwd that dirty rusty tubing connector into your egr valve. A little spritz of brake cleaner you usually dose the atmosphere with wouldn’t have been amiss. Just say’n
That first brake booster was for a right hand vehicle.
I wonder if the mastercylinder been leaking withe rusty condition of the booster make me wonder…
it ok we dont see along you do a proper job!
This van is fighting you every step of the way.
Love to watch your videos. I used to help my dad work on his cars. (I HELD THE FLASHLIGHT). Never in the right place and always moving. Your lighting is always very good. If we can see, so can you.
Uh oh my batteries getting weak! … … … … … Well stay tuned for part 3.
Hecho is pronounced like: H O
😉
That stupid Chinese upside down part..
.. I would sack the 12yo kid who made it..😳
All shops should record their repairs
Protects both parties involved
Six point sockets rule
I simply refuse to use Chinese parts anymore they are always crap, total false economy and probably dangerous.
English truck and it would have worked
If you are not a where, those gaskets contain asbestos so scrapping is the better to remove that gasket.
Sounds like I’m at the dentist.
You forgot to paint the booster black.
My utmost admiration on working in such confined areas! My hands ached just watching. I was reminded of our replacing heart valves through a small hole, but with a few less hands in the way. And not as bloody. You have great skill!
Never easy getting the right one , boosters
I think the Chinesium part might have been a RHD kinda thing or so…
Fooking China strikes again
I am amazed by all the batterypowered tools you use, Ray. You seams to have a tool for all types of repair you do.
Leave as 1 hour as long as the job takes your loyal followers will be here😁
i really like that square light you got , what kind is it ?
Not sure where this guy is or where he works but he sure gets more than his share of turds to fix.
Dam China and all it's crap parts and its virus's.
Why is this guy who knows how to do the majority of the things you do?
I'm learning the little subtle hints and tricks. Being more efficient is also being learned. Oh, I'm a strong DIYer.
I wonder how many people would have just left that defective assembled booster installed, not even being aware it was wrong.
Attention to detail!
Why not some never seize on the vac tube nut and brake booster.??
It must be embarrassing to be Chinese when so many things from China are crap.
Those brake lines were very cooperative
I try to avoid the Chinese made garbage. Sometimes they're not right and you don't want junk on a brake job
My Dad always use to say, never force anything,,, Just get a bigger hammer
Hey , , , Would those magnet things you can put in the sockets help out? ya nkow, hold onto screw.
Was that brake booster imported from northern Ohio? Maybe the entire van….
You should look into a pencil grinder. They would allow for easier clean up of old gaskets and mating surfaces in small spaces
I just subscribed to your channel, fun to watch a great mechanic doing his thing. Looking forward to being a regular viewer.
👍
Old truck, rust from Florida humidity
Refreshing with no sillyness – Professional!
I LOVE New parts out of the box
Who is your autoparts dealer, they are very responsive.
You missed Your first day on link position class.
I would have take MC loose first then brake booster.
You need a Dremal to get into the hard to reach places like that
Love watching your work. How you hold a light, camera, and tools is beyond me. You show things with your camera I could never see looking over my old man’s shoulder when he worked. Thanks!
Nothing much has changed. You remind me of myself in a dark hole with these POS Chinese parts. But sometimes it’s not the Chinese it’s the manufacturing dates. Like for instance my Ford Ranger brand-new look like a 2010 but it was actually a 2009. And when you’re ordering parts you order for a 2009 not a 2010 because there are differences. I hope you didn’t kink any of those brake lines. The other thing I’d stop worrying about time. I’ve watched YouTube between RV living , complete overhaul , restoration , excavation. If you do a one hour video to do like this job but you don’t do it all the time. YouTube might send a warning about the time limits. But it doesn’t really do anything. This one guy he puts two videos out a week and they’re a hour and a half long two hours long. Like you. Complain about time I’ll do 2 or 3 clips. Just do one. Andrew he says he hears complaints from YouTube about the length of his videos but that’s about it. If you’re only doing them once in a while one or two complaints but that’s about it. And I did find the third part of this to finish this one up man you got a lot of videos. It’s winter time up north to let you know why I’m somewhat binging videos. If not be out camping.
Diiz nuts
Ray maybe you will break that " bolt <> nut habit " when and if someone kicks ya in the bolts ???????????????????? @Rainman Ray's Repairs
