Ah Ray, ya screwd that dirty rusty tubing connector into your egr valve. A little spritz of brake cleaner you usually dose the atmosphere with wouldn’t have been amiss. Just say’n

  14. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Chas Boomer says:

If you are not a where, those gaskets contain asbestos so scrapping is the better to remove that gasket.

My utmost admiration on working in such confined areas! My hands ached just watching. I was reminded of our replacing heart valves through a small hole, but with a few less hands in the way. And not as bloody. You have great skill!

  27. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Dan's Learning Curve says:

I wonder how many people would have just left that defective assembled booster installed, not even being aware it was wrong.
    Attention to detail!

You should look into a pencil grinder. They would allow for easier clean up of old gaskets and mating surfaces in small spaces

Love watching your work. How you hold a light, camera, and tools is beyond me. You show things with your camera I could never see looking over my old man’s shoulder when he worked. Thanks!

  46. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars James Lowman JR says:

Nothing much has changed. You remind me of myself in a dark hole with these POS Chinese parts. But sometimes it’s not the Chinese it’s the manufacturing dates. Like for instance my Ford Ranger brand-new look like a 2010 but it was actually a 2009. And when you’re ordering parts you order for a 2009 not a 2010 because there are differences. I hope you didn’t kink any of those brake lines. The other thing I’d stop worrying about time. I’ve watched YouTube between RV living , complete overhaul , restoration , excavation. If you do a one hour video to do like this job but you don’t do it all the time. YouTube might send a warning about the time limits. But it doesn’t really do anything. This one guy he puts two videos out a week and they’re a hour and a half long two hours long. Like you. Complain about time I’ll do 2 or 3 clips. Just do one. Andrew he says he hears complaints from YouTube about the length of his videos but that’s about it. If you’re only doing them once in a while one or two complaints but that’s about it. And I did find the third part of this to finish this one up man you got a lot of videos. It’s winter time up north to let you know why I’m somewhat binging videos. If not be out camping.
